FREE Meals Continue for All Students in 23-24 School Year

La Cañada Unified School District is pleased to announce that we will continue to offer free meals to all students for the 2023-24 school year. All students enrolled in the district are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at no charge. Your children will be able to participate in this program without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. Breakfast will be available during the morning recess at the elementary schools and from 7:45 am – 8:15 am from the snack bar at the high school.

THIS IS IMPORTANT! LCUSD is utilizing a new system and parent portal for school meals. Students at the high school will be required to scan their ID in order to receive a free meal or make purchases. A cell phone image of their ID is sufficient. As of July 31, 2023, EFunds is no longer active. LINQ Connect is the new system to make payments on account, view menus, transfer funds and submit applications for free and reduced meals. All student balances remaining at the end of the 2022-23 school year were transferred to LINQ Connect. You must create a new account in LINQ Connect. Please visit their website at https://www.linqconnect.com to create your account. We look forward to your child joining us in the school cafeteria for a healthy daily breakfast and lunch. LINQ Connect provides a help guide, which you can access here, to solve most concerns. If you have any further questions, please contact Gretchen Bergstrom at 818-949-4750.
