LCUSD Fall Technology Updates and Information

Cultivating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Christina Hale-Elliott, LCUSD’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion consultant will be leading the "Cultivating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" workshops on November 5th and again on the 6th.

2019-20 Family Learning Series Calendar of Events

LCUSD is pleased to announce the launch of the 2019-20 Family Learning Series to further strengthen the home and school connection. This complimentary program will call on experts from both within and outside the District and will explore topics of interest to our community. Please find the attached flyer listing the workshops being offered throughout the year. Registration forms will be sent out prior to each event. Mark your calendars!

Great ShakeOut

Today, October 17, 2019, La Canada Unified Schools are participating in the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill. (These drills will begin at 10:35am.)

LCUSD Family Learning Series: “Bringing Efficiency Home”

We are pleased to announce that as part of our LCUSD Family Learning Series, we will be offering a parent/student workshop entitled “Bringing Efficiency Home." This workshop will take place Thursday, October 17th at 6:30 pm in the LCHS Auditorium. This Family Learning Series workshop will focus on time management skills for 4th-12th grade students. Join Marc Montgomery and Debbie Ourfalian and discover how to help your child accomplish his/her work in a more effective and efficient manner. To register, click here.

A goal of Challenge Success is to encourage PDF (playtime, downtime, and family time). Please join us for the Fall Walk/Bike/Roll to School Day on Oct. 2! The grade level with the highest participation will win the coveted golden sneaker trophy! Students can park their bikes or non-motorized scooters on campus. Parents are encouraged to walk, too! Consider taking the Free LCF Shuttle.
